PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Law and Development Associates (LADA) provided consultancy services and inputs to the Ghana Federation for the Disabled (GFD) to draft a legislative instrument to operationalise the provisions in the Disability Act, 2006 (Act 715). For this consultation, LADA led sectoral and national consultative meetings with stakeholders. The issues discussed were analysed and presented in a memorandum to the GFD for onward submission to the Ministry of Employment and Social Welfare. Throughout the submission process, LADA offered handholding support to the GFD.
