PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Law and Development Associates (LADA) provided the Ghana Federation for the Disabled with technical assistance to review the Persons with Disability Act, 2006 (Act 715), to ensure that Ghana’s disability laws are compliant with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). This culminated into the development of a draft amendment bill, position paper and a draft implementation plan for the effective implementation of the UNCRPD.
