PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The National Health Insurance Act, 2012 (Act 852) established the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), and provides for health insurance and its management in Ghana. In the first phase of the assignment, Law and Development Associates (LADA) conducted an extensive review of the Act for technical and operational deficiencies. Subsequently, LADA drafted regulations through the development of a legislative instrument.
